This is the firm’s fifth award for business excellence in the last 12 months.
Cleveland, Ohio / News Release – Magnus is pleased to announce that we’ve won a 2012 NEO Success Award from Inside Business magazine.
Established in 1995, the NEO Success Awards program annually recognizes top-performing organizations in Northeast Ohio.
According to the magazine, winning companies reflect a determination to expand and revitalize the economic status of the region.
The award is unique in its combined measurement of sales, employment and profitability.
In order to win this year’s NEO Success honor, companies had to show, at minimum, either revenue or employment growth over the last three years, while not losing more than 5 percent in either category.
Performance standards were adjusted downward slightly to account for harsh economic conditions, but Magnus demonstrated significant growth in sales, employment and profitability for the 2009 through 2011 period.
The NEO Success accolade is Magnus’ fifth business excellence award since its 2007 inception and the fourth in just the last 12 months. The company has also won three Smart Business Evolution of Manufacturing Awards and a Smart Business Innovation in Business Award.
The 2012 NEO Success Awards luncheon is March 22 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights. Get your tickets here. Winning companies will be featured in the March/April issue of Inside Business.
Magnus owners Eric Lofquist and Scott Forster, who are president/CEO and vice president/COO respectively, will be among company leaders and associates in attendance at the event.
“The awards programs are a great reminder that there is plenty of good news to be celebrated in the Northeast Ohio business community,” says Forster. “It’s inspiring to gather with other companies that share our optimism for the continued success and vitality of the region.”
