Chagrin Falls, Ohio / News Release / From an initial field of 200,000 Ohio companies with revenues between $10 million and $1 billion, Magnus co-owner Eric Lofquist is a finalist for a Chief Executive Group award that recognizes top-performing middle-market organizations.
The Group, which publishes Chief Executive Magazine, is working with the National Center for the Middle Market at the Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business to identify outstanding leaders.
The program will recognize exceptional chief officers with awards at the National Middle Market Summit this October. The Summit brings together more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, policymakers and industry experts to discuss solutions to the challenges facing middle-market executives.
To qualify Eric as a finalist, Magnus co-owner Scott Forster interviewed with Chief Executive on qualitative and quantitative questions about operational excellence, leadership, innovation and sustainability.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Chief Executive’s Steven Rosenbaum indicated that both Scott and Eric will also be recommended to judge next year’s competition.
“Given how immense the field of potential winners is, we’re honored that Eric is among the finalists for this award,” said Scott, who is also VP and COO. “I think it’s great that the program not only recognizes middle-market companies, but also provides resources and ideas that meet our sector’s unique needs.”
Winners will be notified in late September and announced at the October event.
